But before all the panic and planning, the holiday season is about enthusiasm.

The surge of sparkly energy fills us with super enthu quite a few times through the day and when ever that happens.....we HAVE to do something constructive else it gets unevenly restless.
More often than not it's either to create a new design,make a few accessories or paint a bottle lamp but before that happens, the constant feature is to play 'style up the mannequin'. So often passer-by's walk in and ask for what was on the mannequin few days back, so we thought of making "MANNEQUIN STORIES" out of it.

Every design has many stories to tell.The fall of the sillouette, the tuck behind the broach, the casual throw back of a scarf all comes together to complete a thought.The look on a mannequin is not just display but more a mind frame to the flow, that design envoked this day. It discovers a little MORE in ME and hopefully gives you a glimpse of  another 'YOU' too.

OCTOmbre !!

So far this has been a fantastic month. Backpacking through Chiang Mai region of Thailand, getting blown away with just the sight of Tigers to playing with them, tasting the most delicious road-coffee,loudly enjoying a local Thai film, going from getting ripped off extra cash for a rhom-rhom to paying almost nothing and getting free tuk-tuk rides(yahh) It was one helluva roller-coaster ride. 

While we were Undersea Walking and shopping our heads off, our darling friend Aanchal was holding fort for us back at MEMORE, so a big heartfelt gratitude filled moochie for her.

Normal spasms of post holiday work has hit us so extra creative bursts have filled Memore. You shall witness some of that crazy in pics below starting with Aztec Dresses:

 A little drama only adds shades to life which already exist but we forget to acknowledge regularly. With that outburst of a post i bid you goodbye. The gap has been long this autumn but with the promise of a good winter lets start this season,shall we?

MEMORE’s 1st anniversary:

Had the toughest 3 seconds of my life deciding what to call the upcoming event...birthday or anniversary. Technically Memore’s b’day is 18^th Dec but yup the Bandra Branch is turning 1, so settled on the recurring annual event, thus anniversary.

Few things to expect us to get serious about are:

1.   Twitter: I have finally stopped being lazy. TO FOLLOW CLICK

2.  My Gym routine: i’ve neatly woven it in my Memore time <wink>

3.  Find a smart/reliable super woman SALES GIRL.

4.  Expansion.

Plans in tow are expansion in the two physical realms, add another area-code this year (hopefully) and few online stores. To make this more tangible and not just jab-gob....i’ve been super busy tiring myself taking shots of most designs for the online store...few pics(to prove the tangible comment mentioned above)

If/When you bump into her, you must compliment her on her work with Memore...I insist ~I lured her with the promise of  fame(you give her) & kind(i give her)... :D :D~

On more NOW news rather than FUTURE, have introduced new Printed tops.

HAPPY MOTHER's DAY!!

For as long as i can remember summer vacations were about coming up with something superb creatively because MOTHER’s DAY was coming.......

The to-do list was as follows year after year:

• hand-made cards with crayons & shoe polish
• getting my younger brother geared up into making something
• my father baking a cake from team Family to mommy
• flowers from the farm

Few things ‘upgraded’, like handmade to Hallmark cards. Then came the rebel age and everything went into a limbo but for the past few months i have been feeling this thawing of the ice-age and as though on cue Mother’s Day has come again.

So this year the thought which i want to share with you is to gift a bit of color, a bit of funk, for a change to the one contender who needs you to do just that. Gift your mum some funk via Memore.

PRELUDE TO SUMMER

You know Summer has arrived when just looking at cotton makes you feel the breeze and 'that summer-y  dress' is not a concept but a necessity. So lets all HAIL SUMMER so what if it's still April. Instead of being all cribby about global warming lets keep doing our bit for the planet and be happy and bright while at it.
