For as long as i can remember summer vacations were about
coming up with something superb creatively because MOTHER’s DAY was
coming.......
The to-do list was as follows year after year:
- hand-made cards with crayons & shoe polish
- getting my younger brother geared up into making something
- my father baking a cake from team Family to mommy
- flowers from the farm
Few things ‘upgraded’, like handmade to Hallmark cards. Then
came the rebel age and everything went into a limbo but for the past few months
i have been feeling this thawing of the ice-age and as though on cue Mother’s
Day has come again.
